WWC differentiates itself as a source of capital that understands
the needs of growth stage investments. We define growth stage as
the phase in a company’s development when it has been successful
in introducing a product to a market and demonstrating there is
interest in the product from its customers, but the dimensions of
the market are still in question and the company’s products
need further development. Capital is frequently needed at this stage
and WWC stands ready to help with the capital and other needs as
required.
WWC generally does not invest in the following:
- Companies that are in the start-up phase of development
- Companies that have not achieved $1 million of sales volume
- Companies that require large amounts of capital to achieve
a positive cash flow
- Industry sectors that are outside our knowledge level including
biotechnology, semiconductors, and materials research.
